Alcohol And Exercise?

So, Friday comes and you leave work, you are already thinking about hitting the bar to have a couple drinks with co-workers to let loose and kick off the weekend. You think you should have a few drinks, its weekend right? There are some things that you should certainly keep in mind.
Research studies have shown that even small amounts of alcohol with extra burst of muscular endurance and an increase of strength, although these types of benefits are only temporarily. About 20 minutes or so, the problems will start to arise. Negative harmful effects associated with drinking alcohol will start to outweigh any positive benefits that it can have. Either way you look at it, alcohol is a toxin that can be really harmful to your body if not taken into moderation.
Some of the negative affects of alcohol is reducing strength and endurance. It can also cause great damage to the brain and nervous system. If used heavily over long periods of time it will start to deteriorate your nervous system. Even in short term use it can reduce muscle interaction which leads to loss of muscle. There is no doubt that alcohol is a poison to the body!
If you have to have a drink , you should remember to do it in moderation and never drink before you any kind of exercise, as this will have a negative impact to your balance, coordination, and also your impair your judgement. Consider your health and the way you exercise. It might have you thinking in a whole new light!
